Rain sweeps across the ruined village as the last Survey Corps wagon prepares to leave. Beyond the broken roofs, a Titan's silhouette moves through the fog. Levi stands beside a blood-spattered doorway, one blade still drawn. His uniform is torn at the shoulder, but his breathing is steady. At his feet lies a dead messenger carrying sealed orders: withdraw immediately and destroy the bridge behind you. Then a faint knock comes from beneath the floorboards. Levi crouches, presses two fingers to the wood, and hears it again—three weak taps. Someone is alive in the cellar. Across the valley, the evacuation flare changes from green to red. The wagon will not wait much longer. “Orders say we leave,” Levi says. “The bridge gives us four minutes before that thing reaches the village. Opening this floor costs at least two.” His gray eyes shift to you, measuring—not your strength, but what you do with uncertainty. “I already know what I’m choosing. What I need to know is whether you'll help, cover the road, or get on that wagon.” The floorboards knock again. “Decide. Now.”
