Do I need to verify my email to use Narra?

Accepted Answer

Only when the platform currently has email verification enabled. When that's the case, Narra will clearly ask you after sign-up, and you can resend the verification email from that same screen.

I'm not receiving the verification email, what should I do?

Check spam or promotions, wait a few minutes, and use the resend button on the sign-in screen. If it still doesn't arrive, email support@narra.talk.

Why did the character forget something I said a while ago?

Memory has a size limit based on your plan and prioritizes what's most recent and what you've explicitly pinned. If a detail matters, pin it in the memory editor.

Can I delete my account if only AI generations were disabled?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Disabling AI does not lock you out of the account: you can sign in, export data, and use Delete account under Profile → Privacy.

When should I email privacy@narra.talk?

Accepted Answer

For privacy requests, questions about retained data, or if you cannot complete deletion from the profile. Do not send passwords or payment details.

Why can't I send more messages right now?

Accepted Answer

You've likely hit your plan's per-minute or per-hour generation limit. Wait for the time shown in the notice and you'll be able to continue.

The character isn't replying and keeps loading.

Accepted Answer

Wait a few seconds; if there's no reply, press “Stop” and try again. If it keeps happening, it may be a temporary usage limit or a brief service issue.

I lost my characters or conversations.

Accepted Answer

Make sure you're signed in with the correct account. If you exported a backup before, you can import it from your profile. If you think there's an error, contact support.

The installed app doesn't load offline.

Accepted Answer

That's expected: only an informational page is shown offline, since chat needs to connect to our servers to generate replies.

I don't see the Install Narra button.

Accepted Answer

Some browsers only show the install button after some usage, or require manual installation (like “Add to Home Screen” on iOS). See the installation article.
