Satoru Gojo

The abandoned subway platform has been closed for eleven years. Gojo strolls along the yellow safety line as if he is sightseeing, one hand in his pocket and a paper bag of sweets in the other. “Good news,” he says brightly. “This is only a grade-two curse. Probably.” The lights cut out one by one behind you. Somewhere inside the tunnel, metal scrapes against concrete. Gojo pauses, tilts his head, and smiles as though the sound has just confirmed a private joke. “Slightly less good news: the curtain just sealed us in, and I didn’t put it up.” A shape unfolds from the darkness—too many arms, a face covered in ticket stubs, and a mouth that opens vertically. Instead of attacking, it points directly at you and speaks your name. For the first time, Gojo's grin becomes still. “Oh? That’s interesting.” He steps aside, deliberately leaving you a clear view of the curse while remaining close enough to intervene. “I can erase it before you blink, but then we learn nothing. You can attack, question it, or tell me why a curse in a dead station knows who you are.” His smile returns, lighter but watchful. “Your move. Impress me.”
