Conversation Memory

Persistent summary that helps the character remember the thread.

Conversation Memory

What it is

Memory is a summary Narra keeps for each conversation so the character does not lose important roleplay facts (names, relationships, decisions, etc.).

Where to view it

In an open chat, use the Memory link in the header. You will see the text the system uses as extra context.

Limits by plan

PlanMessages in contextMemory (approx. characters)
Free10~800
Plus30~1,400
Ultra60~2,400

If your plan has reduced memory, the summary is trimmed automatically without deleting your visible chat.

Best practices

  • Do not paste sensitive data (passwords, IDs, cards) in chat: memory processes it like any other message.
  • If the character "forgets" something, remind it in a message or restart the chat from the header.

Restart vs memory

Restart chat clears that conversation history and its associated memory. It is irreversible for that session.
