Create a Character

Start

Go to Characters and click New, or open /characters/new directly.

Main fields

Field	What to enter
Name	How the character will be presented
Avatar	Square image; URL or upload depending on the form
Public description	Text others see in Explore
Personality	Traits, tone, speaking style
Scenario	Initial situation or roleplay world
Instructions	Extra AI rules (what it should or should not do)

Design tips

• Be specific about tone (formal, sarcastic, warm...).
• Say whether it speaks in first person and how it addresses the user.
• Avoid contradictory instructions.
• If the character is public, keep the description clear to attract the right audience.

Privacy

You can save characters as private (only you) or public (visible in Explore). Details in Publishing characters.

Edit later

In My characters, open the character menu and choose Edit.
